Mr. Francesco Novarina, owner of the law firm, is registered in the Rome Bar Association, initially as member of the Commission on Sports and Culture, and actually in the Commission Observatory on Justice.
He has worked for many years at the Ghia law firm of Rome, thus acquiring deep knowledge on corporate law with specialization in contracts, on enforcement procedures and those concerning the relations with banking institutions.
He authored two publications in the field of Sports Law: Lo Sport e il diritto (1996, Ed. Polistampa), Diritto sportivo (1998, Ed. Utet).

He was appointed professor at Tor Vergata University of Rome in the academic year 2000/01 of the Degree Course in Motor Sciences and Master Degree restricted to graduates; from the acadmic year 2004/05, he has become a contract professor at the same University.
He was Head Coach of the Italian Basketball Federation; among other events, he took part in the Olympic Games “Barcellona 92” and in the 1990 World Championship in Malaysia, repeatedly earning the podium.
He was member of the Olympic Solidarity Commission at the FIBA, International Basketball Federation, holding several clinics and international conferences worldwide, as technical and organization expert.
He made part of a number of Commissions for the revision of the General Regulations and Operational Provisions of different National Sports Federations for the drafting of agreements with sports authorities and related disciplines.
He served in the Research Centre on Sports Law, based in Rome. Currently, he makes part of several Boards of Justice at the main National Sports Federations, including the Swimming Federation, Basketball Federation and Italian Archery Federation. |
